Job summary

St Vincent De Paul RC Primary School within the Trust is seeking a Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 1 to provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs for an initial 3-month period. The successful candidate should have experience with children with complex SEND, strong communication skills, and a commitment to inclusive education as part of our dedicated support team.

The role is term-time plus four days, 31.25 hours per week, start ASAP, and is subject to the return of the current

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills essential for daily liaison with staff, parents and pupils.
• Ability to work as part of a team within a Catholic ethos.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs.
• Support pupil to access learning during lessons and activities.
• Assist with supervision and safeguarding in line with school policy.
