Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with complex needs at a specialist SEN school in Hereford from September. This long-term role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a child’s daily education and wellbeing through consistent, personalised support throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex physical needs and learning difficulties.
• Ability to provide personal care and maintain dignity and safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work with teachers and therapists.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
• Assist with learning activities tailored to the pupil's needs.
• Support communication, engagement and social interaction in lessons.
• Provide personal care including toileting and hygiene assistance.
• Support mobility and positioning as required.
• Help promote emotional wellbeing and positive relationships with the pupil.
