Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is assisting a Haringey primary school in recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for 1:1 support across KS1 and KS2. The role runs on a full-time, ongoing basis from September starting in Haringey, North London.

You will support students with identified SEN, including autism and ADHD, in classrooms and during specialist intervention sessions, using visuals to structure learning and maintain calm, clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with Autism.
• Experience of using visuals to structure sessions, including visual timetables, now/next boards.
• Calm, clear use of language.
• Confident behaviour management and boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support students with identified Special Educational Needs in the classroom and during intervention sessions.
• Assist children with autism and ADHD to access learning.
• Use visuals to structure sessions and support routines (e.g., visual timetables, now/next boards).
• Maintain calm, clear language and consistent boundaries in all interactions.
