Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with SEN.

You will help the pupil access the curriculum, build confidence and foster social development in a secondary setting with some primary responsibilities. You will work closely with teachers, SENCO and parents to monitor progress, implement personalised learning plans and encourage positive behaviour, independence and engagement in lessons.

Qualifications

• Has experience supporting students with SEN, preferably in a secondary school.
• Can build trusting relationships and communicate effectively with students.
• Holds relevant qualifications or experience in SEN support, teaching assistance, or education.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students with special educational needs. This is a rewarding role where you will provide personalised support, helping students access the curriculum, build confidence, and thrive both academically and socially.

The provision we are working with are looking for nurturing Teaching Assistants to work with their students. The Provison is for Secondary aged students, however students are often working to lower levels so the position is also suitable for Primary Trained teaching assistants.
