Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd in Bristol is seeking experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional learning needs across several schools. You will provide dedicated one-to-one support, help pupils access lessons and stay engaged throughout the day.

The role focuses on developing independence, assisting with emotional regulation, following individual education plans, and working closely with teachers and SEN staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school is required.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is preferred.
• Ability to support challenging behaviour with a calm approach.

Pay Rate: 95 - 110 per day

Job Overview:

Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across schools in Bristol. The successful candidates will provide dedicated one-to-one support to pupils with additional learning needs, helping them access lessons, develop independence and remain engaged throughout the school day.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN is required.
• Experience providing one-to-one support is highly desirable.
• Calm, patient and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to support challenging behaviour where required.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
