Hays Education in Birmingham is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs in Druids Heath (B14) area, starting September 2026. Roles include 1:1 support, assisting pupils with ASD/ADHD and other needs, and helping sustain engagement in inclusive settings.
You’ll work with teachers, SENCOs and specialists to implement strategies, foster independence and social development, and provide a safe learning environment across both full-time and part-time arrangements.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant or 1:1 Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and socially. Responsibilities may include:
Roles are available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with long-term opportunities throughout the academic year.
Experience in personal care, behaviour support, Makaton, PECS, Team Teach or similar interventions would be advantageous.
