We are looking for nurturing, resilient and highly motivated Teaching Assistants to join Prospero Teaching. If you’re a committed individual, who enjoys supporting children in their pursuit of personal bests, then we can offer you work in our schools.

As one of our 1:1 Teaching Assistants, we will look to bring you consistent work, all whilst allowing you to build a real connection with your children. You will be supporting children with SEN and/or additional behavioural requirements and will need to be a patient and caring individual.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Cardiff and surrounding areas

Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, 1:1support, ASD support, ASD trained

Start Date: Immediate

Rate of pay : £95 – £105 p/d, subject to assignment

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

EXPERIENCE

*Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)

*Experience of working with various SEND conditions

*Experience of inclusive classroom practice

*Understanding how to fully support the teacher in the classroom

*Previous experience of supporting learning using a range of strategies, both with groups and on a 1:1 basis

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
