Are you a caring and calm individual passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their specialist SEN base from September, working for the full academic year.

About the Role:

This role combines SEN support with nurture-based work to help pupils build confidence, manage emotions, and stay engaged in learning. You will:

• Provide 1:1 support to learners with Autism (ASC)
• Support pupils in mainstream lessons to stay focused and regulated
• Offer downtime and sensory breaks when needed
• Work within a small, nurturing team to meet each student’s emotional and educational needs

What We’re Looking For:

• Ideally some experience working with children with SEN or ALN (not essential – the right attitude matters most!)
• A calm, compassionate and patient approach
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with young people
• Minimum of a Grade C in GCSE English & Maths
• Commitment to supporting students for the full academic year
