Protocol Education are recruiting for a trainee teaching assistant who is passionate about building positive relationships with children and supporting them to achieve their best. The role involves working 1:1 with a pupil and collaborating with the class teacher to support a pupil with additional needs.

The position runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, and no formal qualifications are required beyond dedication.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required beyond passion and dedication.
• Experience with pupils with additional needs is desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis and assist the class teacher.

Responsabilités

• Be positive and self-motivated.
• Have a calm and reassuring nature.
• Be able to work collaboratively with teaching and support staff.
• Have a willingness to learn and be adaptable in the way they work.
• Ensure that the pupil can integrate as fully as possible in activities and make progress.
• Develop knowledge of the pupil's needs and seek advice from SENCo and teachers.
