Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a caring 1:1 Support Worker to assist a child in a Wimbledon area primary school. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to tailor support throughout the day, enabling access to learning and social development.

The role involves play-based learning support, promoting positive behaviour, and building strong relationships with staff, parents, and the pupil. A DBS check is required or you must be willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in education, childcare, or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child.
• Support learning through play-based and structured activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Build strong relationships with the child, staff and parents.
• Assist with personal care if required.
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
