This role focuses on helping the child access learning, build independence, and participate confidently throughout the school day. Ideal candidates will have SEN experience, patience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN in a school, care, youth work, or similar setting.
• Patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Responsabilités

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs.
• Support the pupil's academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals.
• Adapt learning activities to meet the pupil's individual needs.
• Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and active participation in classroom activities.
