Raised In is seeking a compassionate Early Years professional for a 1:1 SEN support role in Bristol. You will assist a 4-year-old child with communication needs, supporting access to nursery routines, play and learning with responsiveness and visual supports.

The role focuses on nurturing independence, non-verbal communication, and collaboration with the nursery team, SENCo and family to celebrate progress and promote wellbeing.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND in a professional setting.
• Experience working in a 1:1 support role or similar position.
• Experience supporting children with little or no spoken language and recognising non-verbal communication.
• Good understanding of inclusive practice and child-centred support.
• Confidence in building positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.

• Respond to non-verbal communication and understand needs.
• Use clear language and visual supports to aid understanding.
