Happy Days Nurseries Limited in Cirencester is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator 1:1 to support children with additional needs within our EYFS setting. You’ll work closely with the SENCO and team to tailor activities, ensuring each child can engage and progress in a safe, inclusive environment.

The role involves 1:1 support across rooms, adapting activities to development, and contributing to observations and plans.

Formación

• Provide 1:1 support for children with additional needs.
• Level 3 EY qualification and understanding of EYFS.
• Strong safeguarding, child welfare and health and safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication and accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborative with SENCO and wider team.
• Commitment to ongoing learning.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individualised 1:1 support, helping children access the EYFS curriculum.
• Work with the SENCO, key persons and wider team to identify needs.
• Support learning, communication, social interaction, wellbeing and independence through play.
• Adapt activities to children's developmental stages and interests.
• Maintain safe, inclusive indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Contribute to observations, assessments and plans.
• Deliver engaging activities including STEM where appropriate.
• Maintain records and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Participate in training and professional development.
