Job summary

Raised In is seeking a compassionate 1:1 SEN Support Educator to help a 3-year-old access play, routines and learning in our Bristol Easton nursery. You will use clear language, visuals and patient support to foster engagement and independence.

This role is Thursday and Friday, 10:30am–6:00pm, 15 hours weekly. You’ll collaborate with the nursery team, SENCo and families to tailor approaches and celebrate progress while promoting inclusion.

Qualifications

• Patience, nurturing and observant approach to support SEND children.
• Ability to communicate clearly with children using visuals and simple language.
• Inclusive practice and building positive relationships with families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support the child to access nursery routines, play opportunities and learning with growing confidence and independence.
• Respond to verbal and non-verbal communication, using visual supports and consistent approaches.
• Follow the child's interests to encourage engagement and learning within a 1:1 SEN support role.
