Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd seeks a caring Learning Support Assistant for Primary SEN settings in Bristol and North Somerset. The role involves 1:1 or small group support for children aged 4–11, helping them access learning through structure and encouragement.

You will promote regulation, routine, and confidence in a supportive school environment. Candidates with experience in schools or youth work, who are calm, empathetic, and capable of following a structured plan, are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in schools, youth work or care settings
• Calm, empathetic and confident in SEN/SEMH environments
• Able to follow structured plans with initiative

Responsibilities

• 1:1 or small group support for pupils aged 4–11
• Help pupils access learning through structure and encouragement
• Support regulation, routine and confidence-building
• Work closely with teachers and therapists to create positive outcomes
