Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary school setting.
• SEN support experience with ASD/ADHD or speech and language needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual requirements.
• Support academic progress, emotional wellbeing and social development.
• Implement strategies from the SENCO and external professionals.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence in and out of the classroom.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
