Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an Outreach Tutor to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons for pupils in Birmingham. This role focuses on re-engagement, rebuilding confidence and reintroducing structure into daily routines.

You will work closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor progress and tailor support to each pupil’s needs. The position is part-time with flexible hours, located at the pupil’s home or within the community in Birmingham.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Possess UK classroom teaching experience.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils’ education.
• Reengage pupils and provide structure to their daily routine.
• Monitor progression and support effective learning in collaboration with Prospero Teaching.
• Adapt sessions to fit individual family timings and needs.
