Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an Outreach Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 education for young people not in school across Sheffield. You will create, plan and deliver tailored lessons to re-engage pupils and support attainment, working with a team to monitor progress and adapt as needed.

This role suits a teacher stepping away from classroom settings, with flexible hours (1–3 hours per session) and a minimum pay rate of GBP20 per hour. DBS and Right to Work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• 6 months+ experience in a UK school
• Up to date safeguarding training (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke 1:1 education packages to pupils not attending school
• Plan and deliver tailored lessons to re-engage pupils
• Monitor progress and provide progression support
