Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Outreach Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people with complex needs who are not currently attending school.

You will plan and deliver highly personalised lessons focusing on core subjects such as English and Maths, reintroducing structure and routine into the day and supporting both academic and life-skills development. Experience with Makaton or PECS is highly beneficial.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS/PGCE/EYFS or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience in a UK school or with SEN learners.
• Experience with Makaton and/or PECS is highly desirable.
• Safeguarding training within last year is desirable but not essential.
