Job summary

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to assist the nursing team with routine health-related activities and personal care, delivering patient-led support on Ward C2.

You will record patient information, perform clinical observations, take blood glucose readings, complete documentation and provide 1:1 supervision of patients as required, contributing to safe, compassionate care and efficient ward operation.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with members of the public.
• Understanding of routine work procedures gained through a short induction period and on the job training.
• Current UK professional registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine health-related activities and personal care.
• Provide 1:1 supervision of patients when required.
• Record patient information and complete documentation.
• Support the nursing team to ensure safe and effective ward operations.
• Assist in admission and discharge of patients.
