Job summary

Lansbury Bridge School in St Helens is seeking a 1:1 Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with complex medical needs. The role is fixed term until the pupil leaves, within a nurturing, collaborative school with a focus on professional development.

The successful candidate will work with pupils with SEN/ASC, build strong relationships with families and colleagues, and contribute to high standards of learning in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities

• Work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under direction of teaching staff
• Enable access to learning for all pupils and support classroom management
• Provide short-term cover to allow planning, preparation and assessment time
• Support colleagues as instructed by the Teacher
• Contribute to a positive, child-centered learning environment
