Are you a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Gerrards Cross is seeking a dedicated 1:1 LSA to provide tailored support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN) from September 2025.

Job Description:

• Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with identified SEN, both in and out of the classroom
• Implementingindividualised learning strategiesanddifferentiated activitiesto meet the pupil’s specific needs
• Supporting the pupil’ssocial, emotional, and academic developmentin line with their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support
• Promotingindependence,confidence, andpositive engagementin learning

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a 1:1 capacity (Desirable but not essential)
• Be a patient, empathetic, and resilient practitioner with a nurturing approach
• Demonstrate a strong understanding ofinclusive education,behaviour regulation, andcommunication strategies
• Be confident in using visual aids, sensory tools, and structured routines to support learning
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
