Job summary

Springwell Leeds Academy is seeking a 1:1 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our KS3 team on a temporary 1-year post. This role focuses on delivering bespoke learning experiences and 1:1 student support within our primary-style nurture model.

You will work with specialist teachers to create engaging, inclusive interventions, mentoring students and shaping progress for pupils with EHCPs. The post involves community-facing opportunities and safeguarding responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Ability to engage and manage learning in a busy classroom.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 support for assigned pupil(s) within KS3 as part of a nurture model.
• Collaborate with specialist teachers to design bespoke learning experiences.
• Develop and deliver PSHE and pastoral curricula; create engaging projects.
