Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking experienced Functional Skills Maths Tutors to deliver personalised, 1:1 tuition in Wigan. You will support learners aiming to achieve their Functional Skills qualifications, adapting sessions to each learner's starting point and goals.

Role is part-time, 5–15 hours per week, starting September 2026, with ongoing availability. The ideal candidate will have strong maths knowledge, teaching or tutoring experience, and a patient, flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths.
• Strong Maths and numeracy knowledge.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience supporting learners with gaps in education.

Responsibilities
