Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting ESOL/EAL Tutors to support learners across Dorset and the BCP area with personalised 1:1 tuition. You will help develop English language skills, confidence in speaking and listening, and monitor progress in a flexible, learner-centred setting.

Qualifications

• ESOL, EAL, CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 6 months' experience working in an educational setting
• Experience supporting learners with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
• Ability to deliver engaging 1:1 sessions
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 English language support
• Adapt sessions to meet individual learning needs and language levels
• Support learners in developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
