Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated English and Maths tutors to provide 1:1 support to students in the Sheffield area.

You will deliver tailored 1:1 tutoring sessions in English and Maths, monitor progress and give regular feedback to help students reach their full potential.

The role is part-time, with 5–20 hours per week between 9am and 4pm, paid at £20–£30 per hour, and requires eligibility to work in the UK and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• QTS not required but desirable or previous 1:1 tutoring experience
• Proven track record of improving student performance
• Team Teach qualification desirable
• Safeguarding training up-to-date desirable; training can be provided
• DBS registered on the update service
