TP Tutors in Coventry is seeking 1:1 Learning Support Tutors for Primary, Secondary, GCSE & SEND to provide tailored tuition across Coventry and surrounding areas. Roles include home, school or alternative settings with flexible placements and safeguarding obligations.

Applicants should have at least two years of UK teaching/tutoring, be able to plan engaging lessons, and travel across assignments. DBS update or willingness to apply is required; QTS/PGCE desired but not essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum two years of teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
• Experience with primary or secondary school pupils.
• Ability to plan and deliver structured, engaging learning sessions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Flexible, patient approach to different learning needs.
• Access to transport to travel across Coventry and surrounding areas.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

• Provide tailored tutoring sessions based on individual targets and abilities.
• Help pupils improve knowledge, results and confidence.
• Design lesson plans and create engaging educational resources.
• Adapt teaching methods for learning difficulties and individual barriers.
• Record progress and maintain tuition session records.
• Encourage independent learning and motivation.
• Support children with SEND and behavioural needs.
• Collaborate with parents, schools and other professionals involved in the pupil's education.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure learner welfare.
