Were looking for enthusiastic, committed and motivatedchildren's nurses with a passion to deliver high quality care to come and joinour team. If you are a registered childrens nurse we'd love to hear from you.
Our ward provides care to patients up to the age of 16 yearswith a wide range of acute and elective medical and surgical needs. We have 8beds with 2 enhanced care cubicles and deliver level 1&2 care to childrenand their families. You can expect to care for children with bronchiolitis, diabetes,safeguarding needs, following orthopaedic surgery, and much more!
You will be supported by practice educators, band 6 seniornurses, lead nurses, matrons and the wider multi-disciplinary team through yourinduction/preceptorship programme and on to reach your potential. We offer abespoke paediatric mandatory training programme across childrens services andsupport external study to help you flourish in your career.

You will:
Maintain a high standard of clinical work whencarrying out nursing procedures.
Be responsible for the safe custody ofmedication, including checking and administration.

Contribute towards continuous serviceimprovement and practice development.
