Job summary

North West Regional College is seeking an Associate Technical Consultant in Engineering for a 1-year fixed-term contract based at the Springtown campus. The post holder will support the I4.0 team by providing a comprehensive technical support service to staff, industry and students in the use of equipment and facilities in the I4.0 Centre.

They will work with College partners to develop and deliver interventions in Engineering, Automation, Industry 4.0 technologies and Smart Manufacturing.

Associate Technical Consultant - Engineering

The College is seeking applications for an Associate Technical Consultant in Engineering for a 1 year fixed-term contract based in our Springtown campus.

The post holder will support the I4.0 team by providing a comprehensive technical support service to staff, industry and students in the use of equipment and facilities in the I4.0 Centre. The post holder will support the I4.0 team to develop and maintain relationships with businesses in the areas of Engineering, Automation, Industry 4.0 technologies, and Smart Manufacturing. Working with I4.0 staff and College partners, they will support the development and delivery of specific interventions in Engineering, Automation, Industry 4.0 technologies and Smart Manufacturing. They will also support the I4.0 team to provide a high-quality service and meet its targets within budget and on time.

CONTRACT INFORMATION

• Band 5 - £32,597 - £36,363 per annum
• Duration: 1 year
• 24 days annual leaveper annum
• NILGOSC Pension Scheme
