Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Thumbnail Designer/Video Editor to create compelling thumbnails and edit videos for multiple YouTube channels. The role includes A/B testing, metadata optimization, and ongoing channel improvements across headers, banners, and playlists.

You will analyze performance with tools like VidIQ and TubeBuddy, write best-practice guides, and contribute to distribution strategies while maintaining strong community engagement and collaboration with creators.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of YouTube editing experience in media or with content creators.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Main responsibility – Thumbnail creation (Thumbnail Designer). Create thumbnails for videos within the scope.
• Structure and monitor A/B tests on thumbnails.
• Analyze thumbnails after publishing to identify areas for improvement.
• Make recommendations on thumbnail production best practices.
• Ensure rigorous, detailed tracking, video by video, for each channel in scope.
• Additional responsibility – YouTube channel editing.
• Edit videos: metadata, titles, descriptions, SEO optimization, A/B tests.
• Organize channel homepages: headers, playlists, banners, catalog highlights.
• Contribute to distribution strategy and channel optimization.
• Analyze performance using dedicated tools (VidIQ, TubeBuddy).
• Animate communities: write posts, highlight programs, promote live streams, create synergies between MCN channels.
• Create graphic assets to support community posts (images, GIFs, videos).
• Produce Shorts weekly.
• Moderate and reply to comments to maintain community engagement.
• Monitoring & sharing best practices.
• Conduct editorial monitoring of YouTube trends and industry practices (national and international).
• Write best-practice guides and standard workflows for internal teams.
• Promote and share expertise with colleagues.
• Ensure continuous updates on editing techniques and distribution methods.
