Job summary

The Malden Teen Enrichment Center (MTEC) seeks a qualified Part-time Clerk to support teen programs and supervision. You will help plan activities, maintain safety, and coordinate volunteers under the MTEC Coordinator's guidance.

Qualifications

• Background in youth development and ability to address teens' social/emotional needs.
• Driver's license is required.
• Basic knowledge of outdoor activities like camping, canoeing, kayaking, and snowshoeing.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience working in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media.
• Strong interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Help design and deliver programs engaging teens in social, recreational, educational, and enrichment activities.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and foster positive youth relationships.
• Ensure programs meet high-quality standards in youth development.
• Support outreach and partnerships with youth-serving agencies.
• Promote MTEC to attract members, volunteers, and partners.
• Maintain MTEC calendar, website, and social media as directed.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring and training of volunteers.
• Keep daily activity records and incident reports up to date.
• Collaborate with youth, families, and staff; participate in program evaluations.
• Participate in staff development to improve practices.
