Synechron is seeking an HRIS Analyst to optimize Workday Absence Management and core HCM. The role partners with HR, Legal, and internal teams to ensure absence plans and employee data comply with policy.

You will configure absence, accrual rules, and leave processes, with focus on European statutory requirements. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in Workday absences and HCM, strong stakeholder communication, and the ability to translate policies into system configurations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Workday experience with absence and HCM configurations.
• Ability to manage priorities and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to independently configure absence and leave plans end-to-end, including accrual logic.
• Experience configuring absence and leave plans for France, the Netherlands, or similar European countries with complex statutory leave requirements.
• French language proficiency is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Configure and maintain absence plans, accrual policies, and leave types in Workday.
• Support core HCM functions including org management, job and position data, and business process configuration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve absence and HCM-related system issues and employee/manager inquiries.
• Partner with HR and Legal to translate policy changes into system configuration.
• Collaborate with internal application teams on absence data flows and downstream system impacts.
• Support EIB data loads for absence balance adjustments and corrections.
• Participate in Workday bi-annual release reviews, assessing impact to absence and HCM functionality.
• Document configuration decisions, business processes, and test scripts.
• Assist with audits and exception reporting to ensure data integrity.
