Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS is seeking a Windchill CorePDM Product Manager to lead PLM across helicopter development in Marignane, France or Donauwörth, Germany. You will manage the Windchill application, drive the enterprise roadmap, governance, and release management in collaboration with IT and engineering teams.

The role requires 5+ years in product management, solid PLM and Agile experience, and fluent English with German or French.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or a similar field.
• Excellent understanding of the aerospace/industrial engineering office environment (design, configuration management, product definition).
• Good understanding of PLM systems, ideally the Windchill CorePDM application.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and ways of working.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within complex environments.
• Full autonomy in managing the role.
• Fluent English is mandatory, combined with an advanced level of German or French.

Responsibilities

• Roadmap: Define the overall roadmap for the Windchill application at an enterprise level, working with the Client/Product Owner, Technical Leader, and IT Operation Specialist.
• Governance: Co-lead the governance of the application, with responsibility for the technical scope.
• Strategy: Align Windchill strategy with digital transformation and governance objectives.
• Release Management: Own release content; coordinate design, development, and deployment of enhancements.
• Communication: Plan communication and keep stakeholders informed.
• Costs: Manage the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) including licensing, upgrades, and vendor relations.
• Group Approach: Drive synergies across the Airbus Group.
• Risk Management: Raise alerts on risks and mitigate cyber threats.
• User Satisfaction: Design a product satisfying customer and end-user within Time, Quality, Cost.
