Job summary

Vestas in France seeks a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain wind turbines, ensuring safety, reliability, and energy delivery to communities. The role emphasizes hands-on field work, autonomy, and working in varied weather conditions across the Bretagne region.

The position offers progression into senior technician and leadership tracks, with onboarding at Vestas training centers and international opportunities within a long-established renewable energy leader.

Qualifications

• Vocational high school diploma (Bac Professionnel) in a technical field as a minimum requirement.
• BTS/DUT qualification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline is preferred.
• BZEE Wind Turbine Maintenance certification is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, quality, and operational excellence standards.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of wind turbines.
• Carry out inspections, preventive maintenance, and component replacements with precision.
• Work safely in demanding conditions, including at height and in all weather conditions.
• Use diagnostic tools, technical drawings, and documentation to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with your team to ensure safe, high-performing operations.
• Complete reports and required documentation to ensure traceability of interventions and wind turbine performance.
