Job summary

Vestas, a global leader in wind energy, is seeking a Skilled Worker to optimize wind turbine performance and ensure reliability across its fleet. You will perform curative and preventive maintenance, work in pairs under the Area Supervisor, and contribute to the de-carbonization mission.

Ideal candidates hold a BTEC/HND or BTS/DUT in industrial or electrical/mechanical engineering, have 2–5 years' maintenance experience, good English, and a safety-first mindset; willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications

• BTEC/HND or BTS/DUT in industrial, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 2–5 years' experience in industrial maintenance or electricity with HV knowledge.
• Strong English (written/spoken) and familiarity with Office Pack.
• Safety-focused mindset with ability to work at height.

Responsibilities

• Carry out curative maintenance to optimize turbine performance for clients.
• Ensure smooth turbine operation and control of turbine elements during interventions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance following rules and report interventions.
• Work in pairs and report to Area Supervisor.
