Vestas is seeking a blade maintenance technician to monitor blade maintenance processes and assess blade condition on-site. The role includes performing on-site repairs when required and ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures throughout the repair and audit cycle.

Based in MED region, the technician will work within the Special tasks Operations team, collaborating with engineers and service personnel to deliver high standards of wind turbine maintenance and reliability.

Qualifications

BTEC/HND or BTS/DUT in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with BZEE certification if possible.
Degree or first professional experience as composite material technician and/or wind turbine maintenance technician.
Proficiency in technical English (written and spoken) and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

Monitor activities related to Blade maintenance processes.
Inspect and assess the operational level of the blades.
Administrative work followed by hours, working conditions and operational reporting.
Adhere to safety rules and quality procedures for blade maintenance, from awareness to audit.
Know blade repair processes, assess repair complexity, perform on-site repairs with technical expertise.
