Vestas in France is seeking a skilled worker for field operations in the Special Tasks department, focusing on blade repair and main components. You will monitor maintenance activities, inspect blade condition, and perform on-site repairs with technical expertise, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• BTEC Higher National Diploma, BTS/DUT industrial or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with BZEE cert if possible.
• Degree or first professional experience as composite materials technician or wind turbine maintenance technician.
• Knowledge of technical English (written/spoken) and familiar with Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with composite materials.
• Wind turbine maintenance experience as Service or Construction technician (Vestas or other brands).
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights above 100 meters.
• Technical English proficiency and ability to work remotely in a turbine with limited supervision.
• Comfort working as part of a team with limited supervisory interaction.

Responsabilités

• Monitor activities related to blade maintenance processes.
• Inspect and assess the operational level of the blades.
• Perform on-site blade repairs with technical expertise and procedures.
• Handle administrative tasks and maintain operational reporting.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
