Overview
We are currently seeking a Wedding Sales Manager at The Madison Event Center & Hotel Covington to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is dynamic, driven, and detail-oriented with a proven track record in sales and client relationship management.
As a Wedding Sales Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting, selling, and contracting wedding events across multiple venues. As a representative for our businesses, delivering exceptional client experiences from the first inquiry must be your passion.
Full-Time, In Office
Base Salary + Commission
Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect, negotiate, and contract new clients for wedding and social events at multiple venues
- Aggressively pursue incoming and self-generated leads from various sources
- Conduct compelling and informative site tours for prospective clients, showcasing our spaces and services
- Negotiate proposals to maximum profitability while maintaining client satisfaction
- Prepare contracts and all supporting documentation accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance data as requested
- Consistently meet or exceed sales & revenue goals set by leadership
- Represent the company at bridal shows, trade shows, and other networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Resolve client or guest issues with professionalism, urgency, and care
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Details, Operations, and Culinary, to ensure a seamless client experience
- Assist in planning and executing company events
- Contribute to social media efforts and other marketing initiatives as needed
- Maintain and grow professional relationships with local vendors, planners, and venue partners
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in weddings, events, or hospitality – venue experience highly preferred
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a passion for building client relationships
- A self-starter with exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Adaptable to working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- High energy, passion for weddings, and drive to succeed
Schedule
- Full Time in Office
- Tuesday – Saturday, 9am-5pm
- Some weeknight hours

Compensation
- Base Salary + Commission
- This position is commission-heavy and best suited for individuals who are confident in their ability to sell and are motivated by performance-based pay
