We’re hiring a Warehouse Data Intern to strengthen how Fulfillment teams access, understand, and use operational data. Over the next 6 months, this person will improve monitoring and KPI tracking so teams and partners can make faster, better decisions.

The Role (Mission + Impact)

As Warehouse Data Intern, you will improve how we measure and monitor warehouse operations through reliable dashboards and actionable KPIs. You will work closely with Warehouse, Fulfillment Excellence, and Product to translate operational needs into metrics, reporting, and tooling improvements. You will report to an Analytics Engineer. Success will be measured by dashboard reliability and adoption, and the clarity and usefulness of KPI definitions.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Improve and maintain warehouse monitoring dashboards to give internal teams and partners clear, near real‑time visibility.
• Define and implement operational KPIs aligned with business objectives.
• Write efficient SQL queries on large datasets to produce accurate metrics and analyses.
• Turn onsite observations into actionable insights and communicate them clearly to operational stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like (30/90 Days)

30 Days

• Learn the warehouse operating model, current dashboards, and KPI definitions.
• Ship a first round of dashboard improvements that removes obvious pain points for Ops and partners.
• Draft a KPI catalogue with definitions and the underlying data sources.

90 Days

• Align on the KPI catalogue, including definitions, ownership, and data sources.
• Already delivered dashboard improvements are adopted by Ops Team.

Requirements

Must‑Have

• Student in year 4 or 5 of engineering school, or equivalent.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write efficient queries on large datasets.
• Ability to turn data into actionable insights and communicate findings clearly.
• Proactive problem‑solver who collaborates well across teams.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort in a fast‑paced environment.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, …)
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or operational tooling.
• Experience with operational KPIs, monitoring, or process improvement.
