An established industry player is seeking a Warehouse Associate IV - Inventory Clerk to ensure accurate inventory management and clerical duties in a dynamic distribution environment. The Warehouse Associate IV - Inventory Clerk is responsible for performing all tasks in the safest way possible. The position is responsible for the accurate accounting of inventory, including receiving, processing, and shipping. This role also performs various clerical duties such as data entry, root cause analysis, and maintenance of files and records.
Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment, safeguarding all employees.
Operate warehouse equipment, dock safety, and order processing equipment safely and efficiently to minimize accidents.
Troubleshoot inventory quantity discrepancies with operations, establish root cause, and provide recommendations to management.
Research and establish root cause for inventory adjustments over $500.
Oversee the product damage process, including tracking, packaging corrections, and returning items to inventory promptly.
Assist in standardizing processes to enable lean operations, continuous improvement, standard work, and employee involvement.
Correct deviations in item and location master data in SAP, such as incorrect inventory counts, inaccurate dimensions, missing barcode info, and location issues.
Collaborate with the cycle count team to address adjustment concerns or questions.
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to support warehouse operations efficiently.
