An established industry player is looking for a Warehouse Associate III to lead training efforts and ensure safety in a dynamic distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding new employees, enhancing safety protocols, and improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse operations and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment. The role of the Warehouse Associate III is responsible for training new and current employees in the Warehouse, as well as assisting in all roles within the Distribution Center.
Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment, safeguarding all employees.
Operate warehouse equipment, dock safety, and order convenience equipment safely and efficiently to minimize accidents.
Perform initial on-the-job training with new employees and cross-training for current employees in other areas as per the cross-training plan.
Conduct post-incident recertification in coordination with the local Environmental Health and Safety team.
Ensure all employees are certified or recertified as necessary, based on federal, state, and company standards.
Recommend improvements to standard work, visual aids, and facility layout to enhance safety, customer quality, and productivity.
Train new associates on proper PPE use and area tools to ensure effective and safe operation.
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to support warehouse operations efficiently.
Deep knowledge of all primary roles in a distribution environment (Pick, Pack, Put away, and Replenishment).
At least three (3) years of experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
Ability to work for a maximum of nine hours per day.
Willingness to embrace Hubbell Values and Behaviors.
Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results and participating in projects as needed.
Knowledge of handling, safety, and warehouse standards.
Ability to handle typical job problems within a defined area using basic problem-solving skills.
