Job Overview

The role of the Warehouse Associate III is responsible for training new and current employees in the Warehouse, as well as assisting in all roles within the Distribution Center.

A Day In The Life

  1. Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring the safety and security of all employees.
  2. Operate warehouse equipment, dock safety, and order convenience equipment safely and efficiently to minimize accidents.
  3. Perform initial on-the-job training for new employees and cross-train current employees in other work areas as directed by the cross-training plan.
  4. Conduct post-incident recertification in coordination with the local Environmental Health and Safety team.
  5. Ensure all employees are certified or recertified as necessary, based on federal, state, and company standards.
  6. Recommend improvements to standard work, visual aids, and facility layout to enhance safety, customer quality, and productivity.
  7. Train new associates on proper use of PPE and area tools to ensure safe and effective operation.
  8. Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to support warehouse operations efficiently.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  1. Deep knowledge of primary roles in a distribution environment (Pick, Pack, Put away, Replenishment).
  2. At least three (3) years of experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
  3. Ability to work for a maximum of nine hours per day.
  4. Willingness to embrace Hubbell Values and Behaviors.
  5. Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results and participating in projects as needed.
  6. Knowledge of handling, safety, and warehouse standards.
  7. Ability to address regular job problems within a defined responsibility area using basic problem-solving skills.
  8. Physical requirements may occasionally exceed specified levels.
