Job Summary

Supports warehouse operations by receiving freight, checking for damages or shortages, distributing materials, fulfilling special orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Coordinates with departments, carriers, and vendors to resolve discrepancies. Ensures the warehouse is organized, safe, and efficient.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Receive and inspect incoming freight.
• Distribute materials to correct stock locations.
• Fulfill special orders and backorders.
• Follow up on discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Prepare and pack materials for delivery.
• Coordinate deliveries, understand truck routes, and manage shipping logistics.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of shipping equipment and work area.
• Ensure inventory labels and locations are accurate.
• Operate and maintain delivery vehicles, keeping logs and monitoring maintenance.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, adhering to safety regulations.

Non-essential Functions

• Assist customer service functions such as order entry, returns, and Will Call.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and delivering materials.
• Report maintenance, repair, or security issues.
• Support other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred two years of work experience.
• Experience in warehouse distribution, forklift operation, and electrical products is a plus.
• If driving, must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and possibly a medical certification.
• Knowledge of Windows, Internet, email, and SAP is beneficial.

Additional Information
