VPO Senior Manager, Travel Distribution Transformation

As a critical part of the Travel Distribution Vice President Office, this role manages internal transversal initiatives and serves as the relay for the Travel Unit Transformation / Operating Model team. It involves representing Travel Distribution in Travel Unit forums and working closely with the TRD Leadership team and the Travel Unit Transformation & Operating Model team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Transformation Office Projects / Programs
  2. The role acts as the VP Office entry point for transformation initiatives impacting the organization, including operating model, ways of working, and digitalization. Effective change management is essential to ensure smooth transitions and alignment with company goals.
  3. The Operating Model area includes managing transformation initiatives affecting organization and ways of working (e.g., Product Lifecycle, Agile, Efficiency, Sales Cycle, Segmentation, Marketing).
  4. The Digitalization area covers projects related to Taxonomy, Data Models and Governance, and Customer Journey, among others.
  5. The role requires frequent contact with stakeholders like the Travel Distribution VP and Business Domain heads, necessitating strong internal communication skills to manage virtual teams effectively.
  6. Skills needed include conducting assessments, defining project plans, presenting findings, managing stakeholder alignment, and ensuring deliverables are met.
  7. The project nature will determine if the VP Office member will contribute to or manage the project within the Travel Distribution scope.
  1. VP Engagement
  2. Manage the VP engagement calendar, including employee roundtables, staff meetings, recognition events, Live with the VP, and other engagement activities.
  3. Coordinate participation and ensure high-quality, timely content.
The Ideal Candidate
  • University degree; MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in transformation projects, project management, or stakeholder management.
  • Deep understanding of the travel distribution industry.
  • Experience in leading operating model or large project engagements.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communicator, autonomous worker.
