Job summary

Scaleway is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive GPU Cloud infrastructure and lead two squads totaling 14 engineers. You will own the technical strategy, architecture decisions, and ensure reliable deployment and operation of large-scale GPU clusters.

You will validate technical feasibility of commercial proposals and collaborate with GTM, Operations, Service Management, Product, and other teams to deliver on commitments in our sovereign cloud.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering and leading senior technical teams.
• Experience designing, deploying, or operating large-scale infrastructure and compute clusters.
• Familiarity with GPU/HPC environments, NVIDIA and AMD tech.
• Strong understanding of distributed infrastructure, cluster architecture, reliability, and production ops.
• Experience with orchestration, provisioning, and observability tools: Kubernetes, Proxmox, Warewulf, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience with Lustre, DDN, and VAST Data storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Support Engineering, HPC, and SRE orgs, two Engineering Managers and 14 engineers.
• Own the technical strategy and architecture for GPU Cloud infra.
• Review and validate technical and service aspects of strategic proposals for realism and deliverability.
• Oversee design, deployment, and operational readiness of new GPU clusters.
• Drive evolution of cluster management, capacity planning, automation, and ops capabilities.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability of GPU infra.
• Provide technical leadership on complex AI and HPC projects.
• Align Engineering with GTM, Product, and Operations.
