Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a full-time Vice President/Environmental Professional to lead environmental operations from Shelton and Glastonbury, CT. You will own growth, profitability, and client relationships, guiding complex projects and senior teams.

The role requires 12+ years of experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of environmental laws and compliance, with occasional travel. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, environmental engineering or a related life sciences field.
• 12+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• Executive-level leadership, influence, analytical judgment and communication across senior management, clients and company-wide stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex environmental projects and multidisciplinary delivery with accountability for budgets, profitability and teams.
• Develop and expand a high-level client base; lead strategic proposals, presentations, contract negotiations, scope and pricing.
• Serve as a senior external representative with clients, agencies, subcontractors, industry groups and community or government entities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, technical quality, certifications and discipline standards; identify skill gaps and risks.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff and embed technical expertise and innovation into project work as a trusted advisor.
