Job summary

Harmattan AI is seeking a Software Engineer - Visualization to design and build the internal visualization tools that accelerate development across GNC, ML, Embedded, and Validation teams. You will work on telemetry, sensor data, simulation outputs, flight paths, and 3D scenes in a Linux environment.

You will own high-performance visualization architectures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to automated quality assessments while mentoring junior engineers as Harmattan AI

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience in robotics, aerospace, or data visualization.
• Strong production-grade C++ and Python skills with a focus on robust tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance visualization tools, dashboards, and 3D scene viewers.
• Define internal APIs and intuitive UIs to meet engineering needs across teams.
• Integrate tools into CI/CD and data pipelines for automated workflows.
• Analyze performance and optimize rendering and data handling at scale.
• Collaborate with GNC, ML, Embedded, and Validation teams to translate requirements.
• Contribute to tests, quality evaluations, and documentation for workflows.
• Set technical standards and mentor junior developers as we scale.
