Job summary

Harmattan AI is seeking a DevOps engineer to own the CI/CD infrastructure for our autonomous drone software, enabling rapid, reliable iteration across multiple teams.

You will design pipelines, dashboards, and tooling, collaborate with software, validation, GNC, ML, and perception groups, and ensure quality while integrating AI agents into the CI.

This role requires pragmatic ownership, strong communication, and a focus on scalable, secure production pipelines in a high-stakes defense environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions, including writing workflows to automate builds and tests.
• Experience across multi-repo projects.
• Automation in Bash and Python; Linux + Docker experience.
• Hands-on with build systems such as CMake; debug and maintain build configurations.
• Background in robotics or embedded systems and understanding software constraints.
• MSc or BSc in CS/SE/Robotics or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the CI/CD pipelines that compile, test, and deliver our software.
• Build dashboards and notification systems to surface build/test/pipeline status.
• Turn needs from software, validation, GNC, and perception into practical tooling solutions.
• Collaborate with software teams, IT, validation, and ML/perception groups to remove friction.
• Integrate and deploy AI agents within the CI.
• Track the health of the development workflow and identify bottlenecks and quality issues.
• Document tooling and standardize development practices across teams.
