An established industry player is seeking a Visual Presentation Coordinator to enhance franchisee sales through effective visual merchandising. This role involves training staff, implementing merchandising standards, and providing valuable insights for store designs. What you’ll do
The Visual Presentation Coordinator will assist franchisees in all aspects of visual presentation to optimize their sales and profits.
• Be responsible for implementing all visual merchandising mandates at the store level.
• Contribute to the design of new stores for various banners.
• Train new and existing employees in all aspects of visual merchandising for retail.
• Provide input and analysis for visual merchandising mandates under development.
• Ensure compliance with company merchandising standards.
• Create reports for each store and communicate them to the local supervisor, banner managers, merchandising coordinator, and Chief Merchandising Officer.
• Help stores plan seasonal layouts and product transition periods.
What you bring
• Diploma in visual presentation or design.
• 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising in the retail industry (apparel and hardgoods).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Working knowledge of C.A.D Software, Photoshop, or Corel Draw (an asset).
• Bilingual in English and French.
• Excellent teaching and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
*Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to frequent collaboration across Canada, necessitating high proficiency in both languages.
