Valeo’s VIE Program

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program offers the opportunity to work for one of our subsidiaries worldwide.

Position: VIE Sales at Abidjan, Ivory Coast (VALEO SERVICE Division) – 24 months
Your Challenges
Customer Relationship Management
  • Identify unmet customer needs and monitor competitive trends by product line.
  • Evaluate potential by customer and product line.
  • Coordinate warranty claims between TechCare and the customer.
  • Identify technical support needs and propose actions with TechCare teams.
  • Monitor digital leads and share opportunities with the division's Digital team and field marketing.
  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure customer solvency.
  • Contribute monthly to sales targets by product line and customer.
  • Negotiate with customers on CAP/BOP.
Business Intelligence
  • Enhance customer/garage/fleet databases with relevant data and business opportunities.
  • Conduct surveys supporting marketing teams.
  • Update market, competitor, and customer analysis.
Sales Process
  • Prepare and record visit reports.
  • Improve margin mix and support logistics in reducing costs.
  • Assist traders with marketing information.
  • Participate in marketing actions, trade fairs, and shows.
Garage and Fleet Program Development
  • Identify and promote potential garage and fleet partners and loyalty programs.
Negotiation
  • Conduct negotiations within delegation powers.
  • Use effective arguments to support negotiations.
  • Promote Valeo’s value and specialist strategy.
About You
  • Master’s degree in international business management, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Experience in international business, Sales, or Marketing, preferably in automotive.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong communication skills, international mindset, open to cultural diversity.
  • Humble, attentive, positive, professional, diplomatic.
